This is a great read, good character development. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. The plot twists and turns and you don't really get it (who did it) until the end. Grant is one of my favorite authors. Her story lines are developed and her characters seem so real they could jump out of the book. Highly recommend this read to those who like dark mysteries and a bit of evil.Product details

too many characters, difficult to follow
I love s good psychological thriller and this one dors not disappoint. Icouldn't put it down to the degree I had to tead the following two in the series back to back. A character you don't want to like but just can't help yourself
Well written story with well defined characters. The climax at the end was a bit weak, but overall a very good read for thriller lovers.
I was skeptical at first, but I found myself wanted to know more. I couldn't read the pages fast enough. I read this book in a day and a half. I can't wait to read the second installment, hopefully it doesn't disappoint. I loved her writing style, and I appreciate the buildup.
The story itself was interesting. The characters are somewhat under developed, but that may change in the next book. The pacing is slow but seemed to rush at the end.
This book would be good for someone who wants an easy read who is interested in dark female characters.
The Woman in the Mirror was a great thriller! All of the characters were well-drawn, the pace was perfect. I could sympathize with the misfits but also appreciate the strength & will of the main character. I loved that she is bad & good at the same time. This has been the first female lead that has fully thrilled me in a LONG time. Maybe since the original Dragon Girl books. I THOUGHT the only discordant note was the anticlimactic ending - only to be thrilled that the reason is this is a series! I'm hyped there are 6 more to devour!
Alexandra Mallory Book 1 - Book ONE? Book ONE? --- really, there will be MORE books about this totally unlikable character? Did I misunderstand? In this book, Alexandra is totally an unlikeable, untrustable, sociopath. Who in their right mind would want to force themselves to be any further involved with this woman?
